If my LOVE was expressed
in a simple poem.
that would be too EASY.
If my thoughts stopped
my HEART from beating
the beat is entirely for YOU.
B/c you send me into fits
of JOY & nervousness
I feel HOPELESS.
If I'm NOT the poet
I thought I was
it is b/c I'M ME.
for once WORDS can't express
the BEAT of my HEART.
I try...failing.
If this ISN'T a standard poem,
it is b/c it is ME...
my heart.
A HEART you have,
and ALWAYS will.
my INFATUATION is my DOWNFALL.
Yet, I won't GIVE UP.
I'll keep on HOPEING
despite my mind yelling.
If all is FAIR
in LOVE and war,
why does my HEART beat so?
B/c it is FOR YOU.
