bowling season started yesterday. I must say that our team is going to kick ass this year...I just hope we have the support from the community. That bothers me so much: the fact that we are the only team in Taylorville that actually does something worth getting up in arms about and we get nothing for it. the past 5 out of 6 years we have gone to state. Two out of those six years we were sectional champions. Plus the last two years...we have been undefeated. How many t-ville teams can actually say that? Hardly any. Sure...sometimes our football or basketball teams have a good season, but good for them is winning their first regional game. Taylorville bowling has a long history of excellence and it is about time that people respect.

I think it is going to rain outside. The clouds are moving in their own little "pods," and they have a certain darkness to them. Amazing. I'm sitting here waiting for tiffany to call. I really owe her and aimee for doing this for me....things aren't "in the clear" yet, but regardless...it takes a true friend to do something this sweet. Being away for a weekend has made me realize how much I miss Taylorville. I never thought i would say that, but taylorville is my home. Everyone I love is there. Everyone who loves me is there. only 6 more months and I will be packing my bags to leave good ole t-ville forever. I want my friends to go with me. Shandra...Lacey...Aimee...even my freshman friends...Bonnie and Michelle.

Michelle: For as long as I can remember I have lived across the street from Chelle. Running across the street just to talk...to "hang" out...to warn each other of impending danger...to bitch about our parents (more like mothers)...to chill on the couch downstairs while listening to "Pump it UP!"...experimenting with water bottle and pens..........the list goes on.

For each of my friends, there is a list of memories in which nothing can replace them. If I could, I would bundle them all up and take them with me to college. They can hide in my closet.
